monster project

as a part of my recent ambition to do a drawing a day, i rediscovered my love for these little weird creature/monsters i started drawing in college. originally, they were an exploration (ie: doodles) and they quickly evolved into becoming the crux of my thesis project. if you navigate to the toys part of my website you can see these little ones in full form as three dimensional toys.

i've decided to make them a part of my daily drawing project and i'll be making 50 of these drawings over the course of the next couple of weeks. being an artist outside of college is incredibly hard, even overwhelming. once you get your stride and motivation back the hard days still exist. never give up though, even if you're just drawing for yourself. and when you feel like you are done, draw something you love. you'll see that inspiration come back.
